Battling Nature...

12 of us decided that we needed to test our metal and hit the big water North of Boise. We ventured out with Cascade Raft and Kayak to do the South Fork of the Payette River. The trip we took was called "The Plunge" and it was a full day trip of class III and IV rapids. Below is a bunch of photos of the "Carnage" (as they call it) from the day. After looking at the photos on the company's website, Chan decided that it wasn't for her but the rest of us had a blast and feel that she missed out. There will be more pictures coming soon as I brought along a waterproof camera but couldn't wait to get these pictures out for all to see. We ran into a little bit of trouble a few times as Paige was the only person in our six person raft that didn't fall out into the river. Kristina topped us all with 3 trips into the 50 degree abyss but Tyler and I tried our best but only came up with 2 ventures each. It really was a lot of fun and we all can't wait to do it again next summer!!
